Well today I started hand sewing the binding on the quilt I am giving hubby for Christmas.
Before he came home from work, I folded the quilt and tucked it down beside my recliner
as he never looks to see what I'm working on. He had worked a 12 hour shift today (3-3)
so he went to bed at 8pm and I was able to work on the binding some more.
I got one long side done and started on a short side before I had to put it away. My eyes
won't let me sew too long anymore. He works tomorrow and then is off for 10 days so I
need to get it finished.
The last time I went shopping at Joann's I bought some cute Christmas fabric to make
some cushion covers for my daughters couch. Well........ I have searched and searched
and I cannot find the fabric anywhere. I do have the actual cushions but the Christmas
fabric has vanished. I guess she won't get them this year. Maybe it's just "oldtimers".
