Today Hubby and I went to a Christmas Luncheon with our RV group. There were about 50 people there and the buffet was wonderful. We had a secret gift exchange and we came home with some Purdy's Chocolates and 2 Chill Drink Mugs.
I then found out that my Dad's doctor has determined that he needs to go into an intermediate care home. He has been in the hospital for the last 5 weeks since he had a mild stroke and although he has got some of his speech back, he still has no strength on his left side. Unfortunately he can't get out of bed by himself to go to the washroom or even get dressed so he will not be able to go back to living on his own. My Dad is not pleased! We now need to meet with the social worker to see which homes have vacancies as we would like to keep him in the same area as his doctor.
I came home with such a major head ache that I took a couple of T-3s and then crawled into bed for an hour long nap.
