A busy week.

Tuesday my middle child Kristopher came back from being away for 10 weeks. He was away on Vancouver Island dealing with some personal problems but seems to be doing much better. He went back to work last night and may come out to visit me tomorrow.

I went to our local Quilt Guild meeting on Wednesday which was our Christmas potluck because we don't meet in the month of December. This year there is a new "charm square" program where you choose a fabric theme and write it on a large ziploc bag and bring it to each meeting.
Everyone who participates brings pieces of fabrics (minimum size of 6X6") that match the themes listed by others and they are then sorted and put into the correct ziploc bags.
I brought 6 different ones this time and when I left the meeting I picked up my bag and it had 4 different fabrics but one was even a fat 1/4. Can you guess what me theme is? KITTY CATS

I have been back and forth to visit my Dad in the hospital a few times this week and my brother and I finally got some information from the doctor. Basically, if my Dad isn't able to get some strength back to be able to get himself up and down into the wheelchair, he probably won't get out of the hospital. We are hoping with physio therapy that he can get a little mobile and then he could maybe go to a assisted living home. Going back home on his own is not an option.

Yesterday, I made 2 Christmas stockings for my daughter's cats. This is the first year for her and her boyfriend to have Christmas together in their own place and since last year I made stockings for her and Brandon, she wanted smaller ones for her "babies". Their names are Daisy and Nilla. I'll try and post a picture later today.

This morning I woke up to SNOW! The forcast had said light snow flurries late Saturday so we weren't expecting it this morning for sure. It is so pretty out that hubby turned on the outside Christmas Lights. We are suppose to get more tomorrow so we'll see.

Well, that's all the news that's fit to print. More later.......
