Last night we had my 3 kids over for dinner. Jason came by himself, Kris came with his new girlfriend Megan and Kari showed up with her live-in boyfriend Brandon. We had turkey, ham, veggies and lemon merange pie. The Canucks hockey game started at 5pm so we all we crammed into the living room (half of them laying on the floor) and watched the hockey game.

My neighbor says she always knows when there is a hockey game on because she hears yelling.
I'm sure if she was home, she heard lots of yelling last night.
Tonight all the kids have gone to New Years Eve Parties and I'm sure they will all call at midnight as they do every year. Jason is going to a private party at a popular downtown nightclub and bought a new suit for it. Here is a photo of him ready to party hardy.

I started a new BOM today with hand applique blocks and it is called Baltimore Blues. I have decided to do mine in purples rather than blues. I traced all the pattern pieces for the January block and tomorrow I hope to get all the fabric pieces cut out and folded with the freezer paper. I love to sit in the evenings and hand applique while watching the hockey games.
Happy New Year to all and I wish you a healthy and peaceful 2008.
