Yesterday was the meeting of my local quilt guild. I took the registrations for the fall retreat and then went to my friend Leslie's for the afternoon. After a lovely bar-b-q chicken dinner, we went to the evening meeting where I took more registrations. I arrived back at the RV at 9pm.
Today Margaret picked me up at 9am and we headed south to take part in a shop hot which was called A Garden Stroll. There were 13 stores in all and we were able to hit 8 of them. At each store we picked up a quilt block and I took a photo of the quilt at each store. Except - for one store that said NO PHOTOS!
The weather today was wild! We had sun, rain, snow, sun, hail, sleet, sun, rain and sun.
I'm hoping tomorrow that I will be able to hit the last 5 stores so I can get all 13 blocks.
It was such a long day and my back is so sore. Hope I sleep well tonight.
