When I got up this morning I was sore but so much better than yesterday. I spent a little time on the computer catching up with website updates etc. and then went into the sewing room to iron some fabric and put away my newest purchases.
I then had a bit of lunch, then grabbed my BB BOM and headed over to Margaret's for tea and a couple hours of hand stitching. We had a nice visit and when I came back home, Kari was here doing her laundry and hubby was home from work.
I really enjoy doing the hand applique on the BOM but I have to tell you that I HATE the folding over the edges with the iron and starch. This has got to be the worst part. I have lowered my ironing board so that I can sit and do it but can still only do a few before I need to get up and stretch and move around. It seems to take forever and this first block has 49 pieces.

Although it's called Baltimore Blues, I am doing mine in purples. I tend to gravitate to blue all the time so I kind of forced myself to go with a different color. I like the colors together and once I get the first block completed, I will post a photo.
