An exhausting Monday

Yesterday I went to my Dad's place to meet with my brother and the realtor to discuss selling my Dad's mobile home. Eleven years ago after my Mom passed away, I spent quite a bit of time sorting out her stuff and getting rid of things. Yesterday, Brad and I went through cupboards and drawers to get an idea of how much stuff we had to get rid of. I was quite surprised at how emotional I found it. I will start collecting boxes and filling them with things to go to the Salvation Army. Brad will be away until the 25th so I hope to get over there and get a good start on things while he is gone.

Last night, I spent a little time working on my BOM but didn't really get much done on it. It's a good thing I have till the end of January to get it done.

This morning after 3 hours sleep, I was wide awake and watching the snow come down. Hubby got up a little early to head into work so he wouldn't be stuck in the traffic nightmare that comes with a little snow around here. It has stopped snowing and we have about 3 inches. They say we may get a little more later this morning. It's a good day to do a little sewing and cleaning up my sewing room.
