What a day!

Yesterday was my daughter Kari's 24th birthday. I can't believe that she is that old. She is my baby. She came over at 11am and threw a load of laundry in and then we took her out for lunch to an Italian Restaurant called East Side Mario's. She decided that she's starting to look old as they didn't even ask her for ID when she ordered a Bellini. LOL

After lunch we came back home, she opened her gift and we had tea and cake that hubby made. At Christmas we had bought her an IPOD so we gave her a docking station and the cutest top. She had told me that when she has a bubble bath, she plugs her IPOD into the stereo in the livingroom and blasts the stereo so she can hear it in the bathroom. She was so excited to have a small docking station that she could plub into the bathroom. She then headed over to her girlfriend Kyla's who was born the same day and same hospital as her and then went out for dinner and a night on the town. (photo)

Today, I was up at 4am with the worst back pain I've had in over a year. I took T3's but it didn't help at all. When hubby finally got up at 7, he offered to massage my back to see if that would help. After 30 minutes of massage, he placed a hot wet towel on my back and gave me 2 more T3's and I was able to fall asleep for a half hour. When I got up, it was a little better - thank God.
The rest of the day has been a rough one. I don't know what has caused all this pain but I could really do without it. I had wanted to do some sewing but never even made it downstairs. Sure hope tomorrow will be a much better day.
