Can you believe it? We received about another 3 inches of snow today.
Early this morning I met my brother Brad at Dad's place and we spent
a couple of hours sorting and chucking "stuff" out. I went through some
of my Mom's craft stuff and some of it will be good for me to keep
because I am learning to do some crazy quilting. I found many old
photos of my kids and also my brothers and I when we were little.
We did get a lot done but there is still much more to go through.
I left there at 11 and headed over to a restaurant to meet with our RV
group for lunch meeting. We had about 20 people there and it was a
lot of fun to see them all again. I took a picture of the quilt that I have
created to use as a raffle quilt for the Samboree in June.
By the time I headed home, my back and hip was crying out for help.
I guess all the bending at Dad's and then sitting at lunch did a real
number on my back because when I got up to leave, I had a problem
staying on my feet. I ended up going home and taking more meds as
well as sitting with a heating pad.
Tonight I worked on my Baltimore Blues BOM and have now finished
the centre part. I still have quite a bit to do but I am making headway.
