Today I headed out to my Dad's house at 9 am and spend a couple of hours packing crystal, china and some other items that I wanted to pick up. I then dropped in for coffee at Elmyra's who lives a few doors away from my Dad's. While there, she told me that the quilt store in Chilliwack (Hamels) had a lot of fabrics on sale and did I want to take a run out there. We called my neighbor Margaret who said she would like to also go so we dropped the cars off at my house and all jumped into Margaret's car for the 1 hour drive. I found the greatest deals on some fat 1/4's, batiks and some cat fabrics. From there we went to White Spot for lunch and then back to a local quilt shop close to home. I found some more cat fabric on sale so most definately bought another fat 1/4. I think I need to start on this cat quilt soon.
Tonight the Canucks played the Detroit Red Wings and Kari and her friend Kyla went to the game. I watched it on TV and it was a great game because we won. LOL
Tomorrow I hope to get some sewing done as hubby is back to work after having 9 days off. I need to stick around the house because the realtor called to say that he will be presenting an offer on Dad's house tomorrow and my brother is out of town. I sure hope we can sell it and be finished with it.
