I'm kinda liking paper piecing

On Wednesday, I took a beginner paper piecing block over to Margaret's and we worked together to learn to do it. We actually did it like a crazy quilt block and drew the pattern onto a muslin background before starting to sew the scrap pieces together. After putting the block together, we used our machines to do some fancy stitches along the seam lines and they both turned out very good. Now I am looking for some more easy beginner blocks that we can try and hopefully feel more comfortable with.
Yesterday, I worked on some quilted postcards and am now all caught up until the 15th I think.
Today, I went to visit Dad and had to take his hearing aid in to see if it could be fixed or replaced. He lost it out of his ear and ran over it with his wheelchair.
He has had a couple of rough days with his leg and they have cut back on his physio therapy.
I will be working on my Baltimore Blue's Block 2 tonight.

It's so nice to see someone else from CANADA on here. I've just begun to teach myself foundation piecing and you can see my latest progress as posted prior this week on my blog.

Keep up the great work, and feel free to pop on over real soon.
