Yesterday when Jade came over we went down to the sewing room to finish her Quilt. After stitching all the blocks together with black sashing, we layered the top, batting and the flannel backing. She picked some very pretty flannel with yellow and pink flowers and then she chose pink for the binding. Jade watched closely as Nana did the quilting on the machine and added the binding. After dinner, Jade put the clips around the binding edge and Nana did the hand stitching. We finished it off this morning and then it was time for a photo.
