This morning after I was up for about 10 minutes and even before having my morning cup of tea ... Jade says "Nana - can we go sew"? She is too funny! She is so excited about putting her blocks together to make a quilt. So ... I had my cup of tea and Jade had her oatmeal and then we headed downstairs to the sewing room. The last block she picked is a frog. As with all the others - a very colorful frog! Take a look.
Over the next few days I will trim all the blocks to the same size and then when she comes again for a visit - we will figure out how to put them together. I think we my either sash them with plain black fabric or maybe alternate them with plain blocks. We'll see .... stay tuned!
