I decided that I wanted to create an embroidery block using what I learned at the EQ Stitch retreat last week-end and then see how it would stitch out on the machine. Within the block design I used the applique E-stitch, an applique Zigzag (satin stitch), a fill stitch and a Bean stitch (triple stitch). I must say that I'm very impressed with how it turned out. This beginner digitizing program is very easy to use and we learned so much at the retreat. I'm thinking I might try to create a whole series of blocks that have hearts in them and maybe put them into a small quilt.
