Yesterday was our monthly meeting for the Langley Machine Embroidery Group. We were stitching out some 'Mola' style designs. I thought this was a great opportunity to use some of my Neon threads and stitch on Black fabric. The designs were only 4"X4" so the zig zag stitches were very tight and sometimes the bobbin thread was showing through. I did adjust the embroidery thread tension but I'm thinking maybe I should have used 2 layers of stabilizer which may have also helped. We had 5 different designs and they all turned out really nice. Here is one of my stitch-outs from class but as you can see - I didn't trim the threads before taking the picture.
