A busy week...

After spending Monday and part of Tuesday with Elaine and her new  Quattro, I'm reminded of how incredible this machine is.  I think Elaine will get many years of stitching out of her new 'toy' and just watching her is like watching a kid on Christmas morning.  She stitched out a FSL (free standing lace) Angel in pink which turned out beautifully.  It was the first time she did a FSL design but I'm sure it won't be the last.

Today my little princess Jade will come for a sleep-over and I'm sure a Disney movie will be part of our afternnoon plans.  She is such a loving little girl and always a pleasure to have over.  She loves to bake with her Papa and also do puzzles, play-doh and play with her Barbies and Cabbage Patch doll.  I have made clothes, blankets, pillows and quilts for her dolls and she just loves to go into the sewing room with me to pick out fabrics for new projects.  I see a junior quilter coming along soon.  :)

On Friday I will be going to a 3 day sewing retreat.  I have a few projects that I plan to work on so hopefully it will be a productive time.  I know most of the ladies who are attending so it should also be good for lots of laughs.  We do have internet access so maybe I'll be updating my blog while there.

For tomorrow:
