It has been a lovely day! Hubby worked so I spent lots of time in my sewing room working on my button bag and also the raffle quilt. I finished putting the blocks together and got the first set of borders on and part of the second set.
All 3 of my children called to wish me a "Happy Mother's Day" and Jason and Kari invited me and hubby out to dinner at Earl's. The other son Kris is over on Vancouver Island so I won't be able to see him this year. We had a lovely dinner and then the waitress brought out a heart shaped Mother's Day Ice Cream cake from Dairy Queen. I love those cakes!
Since the kids will be away camping for the long week-end which is my birthday, they gave me my gift at dinner tonight. I received 2 really funky sweatshirt zippered jackets. They have really kewl designs on them. I love the jackets but I think I only want one so will probably exchange one for something else.
