After the service there was a lovely gathering for coffee/tea etc. and then all the kids and their friends went to enjoy a barbq. I was asked to go but decided not to. After a brief visit with hubby I headed back down to the RV and my Puddy Cat.

Today was the Memorial
Today I left the RV and headed for home. I then drove to North Vancouver where the Memorial Service for my ex-husband was being held. It was a lovely service and the kids handled things very well. I do worry about Kari as she really seems like she's in denial and if she doesn't talk about it then it didn't happen. She wouldn't take any of the flowers home or any reminders of the service. I was there early so took some photos for her to have later. This is a photo of the 4 kids who lost their Dad.
The 3 kids on the left are mine Kari 24, Kris 29 and Jason 30. The other young man is Wesley 15 who has a different Mom.
