Well, the father of my 3 children passed away at 1:21 this morning and although a relief, it is the beginning of big adjustments for the kids. Their father was like a 50 year old kid who never wanted to grow up or be responsible. I'm hopeful that the kids will realize that the alcohol abuse over the years took a huge toll on his body and maybe if nothing else it will be an eye opener.
My children are 24, 29 and 30 but are still so very young to lose a parent.
I am so tired that I can hardly keep my eyes open but they actually hurt when I close them. I think I will take a couple of Tylenol and see if I can get a good night's sleep.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. No matter how old or how young you are when you loose a parent, it's always too soon to loose a loved one. By the ripe old age of 22 I had lost my dad(when I was 6), then my stepdad (when I was 19) and if that wasn't bad enough my mom (when I was 22). Oh and I also lost my best friend when I was 20 and my grandparents were long gone too.
