Well the wet week-end they predicted didn't actually hit us until Sunday morning so my kids were quite happy since they went camping and "muddin" in their jeeps. On Friday night my daughter dropped her 2 cats off for me to cat sit and I spent the week-end watching her big cat (Nilla) hiss and wine at my big cat (Puddy). Puddy is so easy going that he would just look at her and then walk away. He spent most of the week-end on my bed and ignored them. The baby kitten (Daisy) is only 7 weeks old and is so tiny.
She was found on the side of the road and was dehydrated and starving and my daughter has spent the last 2 weeks nursing her back to health. She is healthy now but still very tiny. (Isn't she cute?) She has lots of energy and loves to play with cat toys. Since the cats went back home on Sunday night, my Puddy has been wanting lots of cuddles which is typical.
Tomorrow we are heading out in the RV again but this time only for 3 days. We belong to a local Good Sam RV Chapter and this is one of the campouts. It is the first one that we have been able to go to this year as hubby works during the week and is taking a couple of bonus days that are owed to him. After this trip, we will have one more in September which will be it for this year.
Today I took my Dad grocery shopping and dropped off a get well card to a friend who is in the hospital. I then came back home and made her a cheery floral fabric postcard and will mail it out to her tomorrow. Hopefully she will be back home soon and enjoy receiving the postcard.
When I come back home on Friday, I will be attached to my computer for hours as I have a 16 page BC Good Sam Newsletter to publish, a monthly newsletter for my townhouse complex to publish, 2 websites to update and then create 3 sets of postcards - all for September 1st. Oh well, I always work better under pressure.
