There are a couple of ladies from the different sewing groups in our area that are struggling to fight cancer right now and dealing with the nasty treatments that go along with it. An email was sent out asking for donations of quilt blocks that can be assembled into quilts for the 2 ladies. This is a regular thing done in our area which shows the recipient that we are all thinking of them and hope that the quilt can give them some strength and comfort in this difficult time. Today I managed to go down to the sewing room and stitch out 2 blocks for them. We were asked to put our name on the blocks so here is what I came up with.
