We have been back home for 5 days now and I still feel like I'm run down. All that driving in the truck is really hard on my body. Anyway - we will not be taking off in the RV for at least a couple of months so I should be able to get caught up on some sewing projects.
We spent a month in Yuma, AZ at Sun Vista RV Resort. This is a huge resort with about 1200 site. They have a lot of Park Models but still have lots of RV sites available too. I know a few people who spend the winter there so it was nice to actually know someone when so far away from home.
One of the fun things about this resort is that they have a large active group of quilters. Mondays and Fridays were sewing day so it kept me quite busy. I also managed to time my visit there with 2 bus trips. One to the Phoenix Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival and the other was an overnight shop hop to the San Diego area.
During 2 of the meetings they had a Mystery Quilt class which I participated in. Here is my finished quilt top from that class. It's not a very good picture but you get the idea that it is gold stars. I will hopefully get it quilted now that I am back home.
I also did manage to finish the quilt top of the Cat's Meow quilt. Here it is ... another top that now needs to be quilted.
