Last month's embroidery group project.

Last month at the LMEG (Langley Machine Embroidery Group) meeting, our class lesson was about fringe embroidery.  We were given a series of 6 animals with a fringe accent on each and used a piece of felt to applique them ITH (in the hoop) onto a cotton background fabric.  http://members.shaw.ca/lmeg
After I came home I decided to stitch out another 6 but instead of using felt for the applique on a plaid background - I used the plaid for the applique on a colored background.  So now I have a pair of each animal that are opposites.  Take a look at the quilt.  Do you see the pairs?
