Very Sad Times

On Saturday September 18th, my dad passed away at the age of 93. I had gone to visit him on the Friday morning before heading down to the RV. The next night, I recieved a skype call from my brother in Arizona who told me that our Dad had passed away. I was stunned! I think I told him "You're kidding right?". Well, he wasn't kidding and the reality is sinking in. My Mom passed away 14 years ago and now my Dad. I told my brother that the family is getting smaller but my husband reminded me that with the new grandchildren - it really isn't.
My Dad was a very kind, soft spoken man. He was a gentlemen who always worked hard to support his family. He served in the British army during WW2 in bomb disposal and came close to losing his life a number of times. He was a proud and private man who struggled during the last few years with having to depend on others for his health and welfare.

Rest in Peace Dad. I will always love you. I miss you so much.
