On Thursday, hubby stayed home from work because he had come down with a nasty cough and by Thursday night - the flu bug hit me. Wow, like a ton of bricks. Friday I had to miss my embroidery group and then Saturday I had to miss a Brother machine seminar on feet.
Every time I coughed, I thought my head would explode. I spent more time asleep on Friday than I did awake. The baby shower was on Sunday so I dragged myself out of bed, had a shower and went to meet my daughter at Safeway. After shopping, Kari, Kris, Megan and I went to Kari's and started getting things ready. Kari had put up all the decorations and did a wonderful job. We had lots of people and Amber was totally surprized. She received some wonderful gifts for the baby.
After all was over, I headed for home and crawled back into bed. Today, I went down to the sewing room and layered another baby quilt but am still too sick to actually sew. I have a Brother Club group on Wednesday so I sure hope I feel good enough to go.
