Wow - a whole week has gone by.

I have been fighting this cold and am quite a bit better but I'm still not 100%. Each morning I have been down in the sewing room stitchin out embroidery designs and putting together a baby quilt for my first grandchild. Baby Jade is due 6 weeks from today so I still have lots of time. I will post a photo when I get the top put together. It is in Pinks and Purples.


Last week-end was Brittney's baby shower. Who is Brittney??? Well, my daughter Kari has been with her boyfriend Brandon for 8 years and Brittney is Brandon's sister. Because of my nasty cold, I chose not to go to the shower so Kari came and picked up the gift bag I had for her.
I made a cute quilt from a panel and also a couple of burp cloths. I also included a very cute blue baby frame as she is expecting a boy in 2 weeks from today.
