Tonight my brother Brad and his wife Janet came over for dinner. We had bar-b -q steak and chicken along with rice, veggies and salad. We also had a strawberry shortcake for dessert.
Usually we go to their place for dinner and Janet is an amazing cook but hubby puts on a great spread too.
Today hubby and I went a did a little shopping and bought a new comforter for the bed as well as a new cordless phone set. We stopped by a few places to price out the new drawers and counters that I want in my sewing room and found a place where I ordered them from. They should be ready to pick up next Thursday. They are making a 12' countertop with a rounded front edge and it is 24" deep. Under the counter will be 3 (18") drawer sets, one at each end and one in the middle. This unit will go across the room in front of the big window. It's a lot of work re-organizing that room but it will be nice when it is done.
