The Samboree is over and I am back down in Washington State in my RV to recooperate.
It was very successful with record numbers of people and RV's. The only negative was the mosquitoes. OMG I hate those blood suckers !!! We actually left a day early as we could not stand them one more day. My ankles were so red and swollen from bites and it didn't matter what I used. I used spray with 29% deet and also Benadryl after bite spray but nothing seemed to help at all.
Hubby headed for home this morning and so I am now on my own with my cat. It was so hot today that I had the air conditioner running in the RV all day. I sat outside reading for a while and then went in to cool down. It is 6:40 pm and still 32c outside. Tomorrow is supposed to also be a hot one so it will be more of the same for me.
