I can't believe it's been 5 days since my last post. Last Monday, I met Margaret at the Walmart in Bellingham and while in the fabric dept. we ran into Leslie's Mom and then Doe and her daughter Kristen. We then went for lunch and after that headed to Joann's. I bought a few fabrics but not too much damage done to the wallet.
On Tuesday, I put together the Christmas Table Topper from the blocks I won at the PCQ Christmas Luncheon. Leslie had given me her block hit and once I put it together, I just had to complete the top. I also made some more cool neck wraps for our trip down to the Sisters/Remond area.
Yesterday, I went home to do my laundry and pick up hubby. Before we left, we loaded our air conditioner in the truck to take to my daughter Kari's. Her apartment is sooooooooo hot. Once we had dropped that off and set it up, we headed for the border and then dinner. We arrived back at the RV around 7pm and just kicked back with the air conditioner runner at full speed. It finally started cooling down around 10 and I was in bed by 11.
At 3am I was wide awake listening to the awning flapping with the major wind gusts that were hitting us. I watched the neighbor putting in his awning at 3:30 and we finally put ours in around 4:30. I don't know where this major wind came from but it sure cooled things down a bit.
This morning we will be hitting the road around 9am. We are going to Kelso, Washington to stay just one night and then we'll be heading into Oregon tomorrow. Hopefully it cools down a little because yesterday hit 39 degrees at our home.
