What a great day! This morning I ran a few errands and then stopped by Carol's house to drop off her peltex for postcard swaps. Doe was there and they were meeting to plan the PCQ (our satelite quilt group) summer luncheon. So I inserted myself into the planning and we were off and running. As the luncheon is the last time we meet until Sept. we have a bit of a ParTay.
We planned the lunch, games, prizes .............. and a few surprises, what fun. Doe brought lunch for her and Carol and they insisted that there was plenty and I had to join them for lunch.
Well, I arrived around 11 and Doe and I finally left around 4:30....... We have fun anytime we are together and boy does time fly.
I didn't get to work on any postcards today but I did receive 2 in the mail. Yippee!
There was a Sunbonnet Sam postcard from Elly in New York and a Pastels postcard from Yoshiko in Langley. That Yoshiko is so clever, on her card she put a tube of tooth"paste" and the letter "L".
I hope to get a chance to work on my postcards tomorrow. Hubby is home tomorrow so he might have other plans. LOL
